For more than twenty years I have been involved in the port, marine and offshore construction industry. During these two decades I have seen many countries and encountered a lot of different situations. Equipped with that experience I can help in all aspects of hydrographic surveying, be it from the Contractual matters to complete hydrographic setups for dredging companies.

I have gained experience in recruitment of surveyors, setting up complete survey departments where I managed and re-organised departments up to 50 employees and led many junior, BSc, Msc, IHO Cat A into successfull careers and projects.

In addition to Hydrographic Surveying & Land Surveying, I have integrated Machine Control Equipment from design to installation & maintenance for Heavy Plant like Hydraulic Excavators with buckets up to 40m3, Hopper Dredgers (25,000m3) and many more terrestrial and floating equipment.

During many projects I have scrutinized contracts on surveying matters in conjunction with construction methods. Achievability and efficiency of the construction process is and always has been the first priority. In that area I have gained, adopted and refined Offshore Contract Documentation, Survey Plans and (inter)-national guidelines for port and shallow water surveying.
